Here’s what’s in store:

The Future of PZW is on the line …
When THE STORMBRINGER goes head to head with GOTHIK KNIGHT
Fans and wrestlers alike have been aggravated by the sour attitude and self-destructive behaviour of the Stormbringer, whose downward spiral threatens to bring Power Zone Wrestling to a slow but certain demise. Stormbringer was a driving force in the creation and development of PZW in 2005 and was recognized as a franchise player in the organization, whether cheered or booed by the rignsiders. However, after a year which has wreaked havoc on him personally and professionally, he seems poised to tear down the legacy that he has bled to build. In the opposing corner, Lethbridge’s own Gothik Knight has made one of the most herculean comebacks in all of professional sports and isn’t willing to let pro wrestling’s reign atop the southern Alberta sports scene slip into dormancy again. Knight has appeared internationally, with matches for the defunct World Championship Wrestling as well as tours in Puerto Rico and has become a favorite among the PZW fans. Can Gothik Knight save Power Zone Wrestling?

It’s a matter of respect …
That brings VANCE NEVADA to the fray against “CLASS ACT” KEVIN MARTEL
One would be hard pressed to identify two Canadian wrestlers who have had a more stellar year than these two adversaries. Martel, a graduate of Calgary’s Storm Wrestling Academy has done well on the independent scene, scoring victories over an impressive list of opponents. This year, the sophomore sensation even scored an appearance on WWE television opposing Vladimir Koslov. His opponent, a sixteen year veteran of the mat game hits the ring after being awarded his ninth listing in the Pro Wrestling Illustrated Top 500 and having recently published a new book WRESTLING IN THE CANADIAN WEST. This will be an interesting showdown between two of the most intellectual grapplers to ever hit the mat, each looking for the other to concede defeat in a battle of respect.

All eyes are on gold …
As ADRIAN WALLS looks to wrest the PZW championship away from CHASE PATRICK
In the history of Power Zone Wrestling, nobody has dominated the competition like Adrian Walls, a two time PZW champion, Walls has battled against an international array of talent and has seldom been outclassed. The former mixed martial artist seems more focused than ever to be the first three time champion in the history of the franchise. Chase Patrick, as champion, has been on an incredible role. Dubbed “The Assassin” by his peers, Patrick has pursued an aggressive schedule and enters WrestleBash fresh off a week in the WWE’s Tampa, Florida training camp. Could Patrick be using the PZW title to springboard to greater heights in the business, or will Adrian Walls cement his legacy with a third title win?

Two PZW originals collide …
when “COWBOY” BRYN WATTS fends off KYLE SEBASTIAN
Power Zone Wrestling opened with a training camp producing a select group of wrestling hopefuls. Among the standouts in that inaugural class were teen prodigies Bryn Watts and Kyle Sebastian. Watts, who has been one of the most visible faces in Lethbridge for four years, has been a thorn in the side of wrestlers and fans alike with his perpetual presence on the microphone and interference in some key bouts over the course of PZW history. Fans were recently thrilled to have Watts muzzled and removed from his post as master of ceremonies at Bully’s events. Young Sebastian started his career at sixteen years old and in 2009, has been away from Alberta rings as his career has gone national. With appearances from coast to coast and a title reign or two along the way, Sebastian has been attracting attention from some influential folks in the wrestling business and his stock continues to rise. His WrestleBash appearance marks the first time Kyle will be appearing in Lethbridge in 2009.

It’s a David and Goliath struggle …
when referee JESSE DURST attempts to topple CANADIAN DREAM
If it’s true that wrestling fans love to root for the underdog, then this special challenge match will see Medicine Hat’s Jesse Durst on the receiving end of worship-level adulation as the light heavyweight rookie rassler hits the mat against the 265 pound behemoth, Canadian Dream. Dream has stepped in the ring with some of the biggest and best during his PZW career and has destroyed a number of opponents … he’d like to continue that streak at WrestleBash with young Jesse Durst. Durst, a recent graduate of the PZW Power Shop enters this, his second professional bout, with a daunting challenge ahead. He needs to survive ten minutes in the ring with PZW’s most ornery brute to declare a victory – he doesn’t have to pin his heavyweight opponent, just survive the time limit. Will Durst pull off the upset of the year, or will his career end before it has a chance to begin?

SPECIAL NIGHT AND TIME …
For one night only, the action at Bully’s South Pavilion takes place on Sunday night, December 13th with the opening bell at 6:00 pm. Be sure to get there early to get a good seat, tickets will be available at the door, but are expected to sell out. Don’t ya dare miss it.

Media Inquiries:
E-Mail: pzw@shaw.ca

PZW WrestleBash news

Credit: Power Zone Wrestling WresteBash Event page

Powerzone Wrestling presents it's biggest show of the year and the stakes could NOT be higher! To quote a PZW Alumni “Tell your sister and your brother, tell your mom and dad that this show will be super rad.” Come on Lethbridge the challenge to you is being thrown out and it is to tell everyone you know to come out and lets fill Bully’s to at least 500 people.
The card will not disappoint you:
In the main event we will see a WWE superstar and one-half the tag team the Highlanders Robbie McAllister as he steps foot in for the first time in a PZW ring against the man that founded PZW the Stormbringer. These two have battled back and forth on FACEBOOKTM and have built up quite the amount of hatred for each other. Last show we saw Stormbringer go off and a Robbie McAllister action figure, it is pretty easy to yell at an action figure, but will Stormbringer have the balls to talk to the real Robbie McAllister or will the new attitude of The Stormbringer prove that he only likes to talk about people when they are not there?

This match could get more interesting as well as the rumour going around PZW right now is that November 25, 2009 Best Selling author and CAC award recipient Vance Nevada is going to challenge PZW founder Tim “Stormbringer” Strom to a special challenge, that since Stormbringer has no respect for the people, and thinks he is better than everyone else than word is that Vance Nevada will challenge Strom that if Stormbringer loses his match against Robbie then he loses control of PZW and it goes back to the fans, and PZW continues into the new year. But if Stormbringer wins then that is it PZW will end forever with the last show December 13, 2009 at WrestleBash.
Will Stormbringer accept this challenge? Will he chicken out? This could very well change the foundation and future of PZW that right now is looking at its closing days coming soon. One would have to think if this rumour is true and the challenge is out there will Stormbringer even accept or respond to the challenge as we all know he doesn’t give a Sh** about the people anymore? Make sure to come out and find out what if what will happen November 25, 2009.

Remember 500 wild crazy fans in Bully’s November 25, 2009. Let’s get people to fill that place.

Also:
In the Semi-Main event it will be former wCw star and undefeated in PZW The Gothic Knight versus the biggest most powerful in PZW The Canadian Dream. What will happen when these two mastodons collide in the PZW ring for the first time in one on one contest? The Knight managed to get the win in the 3 on 1 handicap match last show which involved The Dream. But this time will the unmatched super human strength of The Canadian Dream be too much for The Gothic Knight who in just one show will meet The Stormbringer in the main even at WrestleBash which could be the last PZW show ever. But first The Knight has to get t hought The Canadian Dream who in PZW’s past has beat both two and three men at a time just like The Gothic Knight.

Remember 500 wild crazy fans in Bully’s November 25, 2009. Let’s get people to fill that place.

In another tag team match we will see WrestleBash opponents face off in tag team action before they go one on one at Decembers WrestleBash, PZW’s final show (potentially), as Vance Nevada teams with MMA fighter Adrian Walls to take on PZW champion “The Assassin” Chase Patrick and Kevin Martel. The rivalry between Nevada and Martel has been picking up steam ever since Martel pinned Nevada in the triple threat match a few shows back and these tow have interrupted each other the past couple weeks debating respect. Nevada even cost Martel his match last show against Evan Adams. The rivalry between Walls and Patrick for the PZW title is also picking up full steam ans the former 2 time PZW champion was on the verge of becoming a 3 time champion last show when Chase Patrick got himself DQ’ed in their match, to keep his title. Will Walls get another shot at the PZW title to become a three time champion? A win over Patrick in a tag match could go a long way to giving Walls another title shot.

Also remember if you haven’t got your copy of Vance Nevada’s new book “Wrestling in the Canadian West” be sure to get in person from Vance himself at the show. It is a must have book for all wrestling fans.
Remember 500 wild crazy fans in Bully’s November 25, 2009. Let’s get people to fill that place.

In another exciting tag match to round out a great night of wrestling November 25, 2009 will feature the most popular tag team in PZW history The Party Animals as they take on Brandon Van Danielson and Scotley Crue in a match that should be filled with exciting faced paced action. Chucky Blaze and BVD meet one on one at WrestleBash, but what will happen when they meet one show early in the tag match. Chucky Blaze is livid at BVD for costing him the PZW title in the I quit match a few shows back.

Remember 500 wild crazy fans in Bully’s November 25, 2009. Let’s get people to fill that place.
All this and so much more be sure to come out to PZW’s “The Final Countdown” next show in Lethbridge.

PZW oct 21, 2009 Quick Results

From PZW's Octiber 2009 Four Years of Glory Show

Stormbringer opened the show challenging Highlander Robbie McAllister to a match next show in November

Evan Adams beat Scotley Crue

Vance Nevada and Kevin Martel debate and read poetry in anticpation to their showdown Dec 13

The Party Animals beat Beautiful Bobby and BVD

Alex Plexis beat Kevin Martel with a little help from Nevada

PZW championship match
Adrian Walls beat Chase Patrick by DQ still champion Chase Patrick

Stormbringer beat Jesse Durst with the help of a loaded pop can shot

The Gothic Knight beat Cowboy, Canadian Dream and Allstar Watts via pinnfall on the Cowboy

Videos posted on main page of website and youtube

PZW Oct 21, 2009 Four Years of Glory Preview

PZW Oct 21, 2009
4 Years of Glory!!!!

We are less than one week from Power Zone Wrestling’s next live show at the historic Bully’s Asylum and what a show is in store for the fans of PZW to celebrate the 4 year anniversary of Power Zone Wrestling. So don’t miss it as the countdown is on only three more PZW shows left!

In the Main Event of this epic four year anniversary show you got the biggest toughest match in The Gothic Knight’s PZW career as he takes on not one, not two, but three opponents in a 3-on-1 handicap match and not just any three wrestlers but the tough and powerful Canadian Dream and his partners PZW Owner Cowboy Bryn Watts and his cousin All-star Kevin Watts. Can the former wCw star overcome these odds? Will Gothic Knight suffer his first loss? Will he be able to make it to WrestleBash to face Stormbringer in the match Alberta wants to see? I know Stormbringer would hope The Knight can’t make it to the Bash and it would be an easy payoff for him then. One thing for sure is The Gothic Knight isn’t going down without a fight, and he needs as many wild crazy fans to be in his corner to cheer him on to a victory so come on out.

The Countdown is on Three PZW shows left don’t you dare miss one! www.powerzonewrestlingfans.com for more info.

In semi-main event action we will see the Lethbridge in ring debut of PZW referee Jesse Durst as he takes on The Evil and turncoat Stormbringer. We have seen this building for months, show after show Stormbringer has been intimidating Jesse Durst and Jesse is not one to back down from a fight but this kid has only had a handful of matches and can he really take it to the two time PZW champion and founder of this company who since he turned his back on the fans has developed a ruthless and violent tendency where he shows no remorse for anyone. Has Jesse bit off more than he can chew in Lethbridge? Or will the referee score the biggest upset of his young career? One thing is for sure Jesse better watch out for any interference from PZW owner Cowboy and his Posse of misfits or else we could end up seeing Jesse dismantled much like last show.

The Countdown is on Three PZW shows left don’t you dare miss one! www.powerzonewrestlingfans.com for more info.

The PZW championship is up for grab at the forth year anniversary showdown as well as it will be the current champion “The Assassin” Chase Patrick taking on the former 2 time 2 time PZW champion and Battle Cup trophy holder. Can The Assassin use his devastating Superkick to lay out the MMA fighter and all around pound for pound toughest wrestling in PZW today and the most decorated athlete in Power Zone Wrestling? Adrian Walls had vowed that he will do whatever it takes to win back the title he put on the map. Adrian Walls held the title for the first year of its existence without losing it, he turned back challenger after challenger time and time again and some of them the best wrestlers out there. Adrian Walls is bound and determined to become a three time champion before PZW closes its doors forever but it only takes one quick kick to the jaw from “The Assassin” to strike to cause everything to be over. Who will pull out the win and the championship in this epic championship match?

The Countdown is on Three PZW shows left don’t you dare miss one! www.powerzonewrestlingfans.com for more info.

Mr. Beefy Goodness Vance Nevada the man with over 1000 pro wrestling matches under his belt and the author of the new book “Wrestling In The Canadian West”, Available now, will again try to teach some respect into the cocky youngster fresh off ECW television “Class Act” Kevin Martel. This little punk showed the veteran Nevada no respect last show when Nevada was out promoting his new book, available now, and this time at 4 years of Glory, Vance Nevada will look trying once again to teach some respect into the “Class Act” as the two prepare for their one on one contest December 13, 2009 at WrestleBash. Will Nevada be able to teach some respect or will The Class Act go for another cheap shot and continue to show the veteran no respect. Find out Oct 21, 2009 when Vance Nevada confronts Kevin Martel. Fireworks could explode in this one folks.

The Countdown is on Three PZW shows left don’t you dare miss one! www.powerzonewrestlingfans.com for more info

In tag team action October 21 we will arguably the most popular tag team in Alberta team up again as The Party Animals take on “The Pit-bull” Brandon Van Danielson and Beautiful Bobby. You know Chucky Blaze has to have some measure of revenge in store for BVD after BVD cost Chucky the PZW championship last show when it looked like Chucky had victory in his sights with the cross face locked in on Chase Patrick but then BVD brought Chucky’s own tag team partner Alex Gallagher to ringside and hung him by his neck over the ropes with an electrical cord forcing Chucky to say “I Quit” to save his partner and friend. Why did BVD have to screw Chucky out of the PZW title? Was BVD just embarrassed because Alex Gallagher pinned him earlier in the night? What will be the condition of Alex anyways come show time when just three ago he was choked out with an electrical cord? Also how will the sick, bizarre leader of Ménage e Trois Beautiful Bobby fit into this equation? Not that Bobby fits anywhere he goes? Make sure to come out Oct 21, 2009 for Four Years of Glory to find out.

The Countdown is on Three PZW shows left don’t you dare miss one! www.powerzonewrestlingfans.com for more info.

And that is not all folks we will also see the cocky arrogant bad guy Scotley Crue in action as he takes on the ever growing in popularity Evan Adams still looking for that one big win here in PZW. Can Evan Adams score that win October 21 at Four Years of Glory over one third the trio of Ménage e Trois? Where will the other members of Ménage E Trois be for this match? Because we know where there is one there is bound to be at least another doing whatever it takes to get their team the victories. We haven’t heard any news from Ménage E Trios’ muscle man Pete Powers will he show up and make his presence known, or his he still at home looking his wounds after being destroyed by The Gothic Knight Last show?

The Countdown is on Three PZW shows left don’t you dare miss one! www.powerzonewrestlingfans.com for more info.

So come on out October 21, 2009 for Four Years of Glory for this huge show from PZW. Doors open at 6:30pm and bell time is at 7:30pm. Tickets available at the door for ONLY $7.50, cash only please. Invite all your friends and family and don’t you dare miss a show because once it’s gone, it’s gone and come out and say goodbye and thank you to all the wrestlers in Power Zone Wrestling that have spent the last four years doing whatever they could to entertain you. Also you can pick up your copy of Vance Nevada’s new book “Wrestling In The Canadian West” if you haven’t got it already. It is a must have for all wrestling fans and a great Christmas gift.
Till Next Time
PZW Sept 30, 2009 Show Card and Preview

PZW September 30, 2009
Show Preview and card!

We are less than two days away from Power Zone Wrestling’s next live event at Bully’s South Grandstand in Lethbridge, AB Canada and what a huge show Sept 30 is looking to have. Make sure to come on out bring every one you to come see Alberta’s best pro wrestling before it’s gone and get a chance to support and say thank you to all the great wrestlers for performing here over the years.

Well let’s get into the show.

Match 1: Will feature Alex Plexis taking on Scotley Crue

These two have had quite the rivalry since Plexis returned to Power Zone Wrestling a few months ago, battling each other in 6 man tag matches and regular tag matches but now it’s time for one on one action to see who is the better man. We got on one side the hugely popular charismatic Alex Plexis who in a short time has managed to get every person in Bully’s on their feet with the excitement he brings each and every time he steps foot in the PZW ring. On the other side you got Scotley Crue one third the team of Ménage a Trois and just someone that doesn’t care one bit about the fans in PZW, this guy is so arrogant and cocky that he doesn’t care who he pisses off whether it be on his way to the ring by blowing smoke in fans eyes or spitting water at them he just doesn’t care. Can the charismatic fan favourite Alex Plexis defeat the brash cocky Scotley Crue in one on one action be sure to check it out September 30, 2009 at Bully’s?

Match 2: Beautiful Bobby takes on Evan Adams
Another member of the trio Ménage a Trois Beautiful Bobby steps back into the ring in one on one action against someone who is climbing the ranks in PZW each week and winning over more and more people every time he comes out with his never quit attitude. Can Evan Adams earn his biggest victory of his career? Or will Beautiful Bobby have his way with yet another helpless PZW wrestler? One thing is for sure is that Evan Adams isn’t going to quit or give in to the sick demented Bobby and won’t go down without out a fight. Come on out Sept 30, 2009 at Bully’s to see this impressive match.

Match 3: Brandon Van Danielson Vs Alex Gallagher
This next match features one half of argumentative the most popular tag team ever in PZW let alone the world of pro wrestling. “Party Animal” Alex Gallagher has climbed the ranks of PZW in tag team dominance in PZW defeating with his partner Chucky Blaze some of the best tag teams in PZW like Rampage and 5 star affair among others. But can this awesome tag team wrestler journey into singles match stardom and victorious ways? “The Pit-bull” Brandon Van Danielson is no easy opponent to take on he is coming off major title matches against former champions Stormbringer and “Ravenous” Randy and just finished battling Stormbringer again in a very violent feud that cumulated in a brutal NO DQ, No count out match that saw action spill outside of the ring all the way to on top of someone’s car. Brandon van Danielson is riding a wave of momentum with big matches in PZW and headlining several PZW shows but did this most recent loss to Stormbringer cause “The Pit-bull” to lose some focus or was it just a minor setback? Check out PZW September 30, 2009 at Bully’s South Grandstand to find out.

Match 4: Vance Nevada Vs “Class Act” Kevin Martel

This match will feature experience Vs youth as veteran of the squared circle and PWI 500 ranked wrestler (one of the top 500 wrestlers in the world) steps in the ring one on one with the cocky know it all with bad entrance music “Class Act” Kevin Martel. Last show we saw Kevin Martel use his brains and manage to sneak and get the roll up on an unsuspecting Vance Nevada with a handful of the veterans tights, but this time there will be no one else in the match to distract Nevada as this time it is one on one youth Vs Experience can Kevin Martel get another win or will the Veteran make short work of the cocky youngster? Check out PZW Sept 30, 2009 to find out!

Speaking of Vance Nevada be sure to pick up his new book available October 1, 2009 and check out http://www.vancenevada.ca/ for more information.

Match 5: Stormbringer Vs Adrian Walls
Over time there has been feuds that have made a promotion, those that have helped shape a promotion in to what it has become; and rivalries that all though die down for but never seem to go away as the promotion builds. In WWE you have The Rock Vs Stone Cold, HBK VS HHH and Randy Orton Vs John Cena but in Power Zone Wrestling there was always one feud that remained constant, that fans always knew was ready to explode and that feud is Stormbringer Vs Adrian Walls. These two have battled in the early days on PZW and all throughout the 4 years of existence and it seems only fitting that in this the finals months of PZW we see this feud reach its Breaking Point and boil over one last time. Only this time it will be a little different where the fans used to go crazy and cheer the PZW founder Stormbringer and absolutely hate MMA competitor Adrian Walls we now see after the shocking end to last show as Stormbringer turn his back on his supporters and Walls come out to defend the fans the roles have reversed. But this time once and for all for “One Final Time” we will see who comes out on top as for the final time it is Stormbringer Vs Adrian Walls be sure not to miss this epic close to a historic rivalry September 30, 2009 at Bully’s South Grandstand.

Match 6: PZW Champion “The Assassin” Chase Patrick Vs Chucky Blaze in a I QUIT MATCH.
These two left fans standing after their awesome match last show with their athletics and high risk style last show and both men never giving up after several big moves were hit on each other but in the end it was “The Assassin” lining up Chucky in his sights to connect with the devastating Superkick to the already injured head of Blaze which lead to Patrick regaining his title. But this time it is not about getting the pin on your opponent but making your opponent utter the words “I QUIT” as the ultimate insult to victory. Both men are not quitters as we saw last show but by the end of the match one man will have to suffer the ultimate humiliation and utter the words “I QUIT”. But first what is the state of Chucky Blaze to compete in anyways we saw after last match the devastating attack from “The Assassin” knocking Chucky out cold? And will Adrian Walls have his eye on this match and Chase Patrick? We saw last show when Walls came to Chucky’s aide he wanted to fight Chase Patrick and wanted no doubt wants to reclaim his PZW championship for a third time before PZW closes forever. Check out the PZW show Sept 30, 2009 to find out what happens.

Match 7: Main Event; The Gothic Knight VS Pete Powers

Its strength Vs strength as the former wCw wrestler battles the muscle man of Ménage A Trois in the main event of September 30’s show. We have seen The Gothic Knight destroy other competitors he has been matched up with before but no one the size of Pete Powers. Powers is a genetically jacked athlete and no small task for anyone to take on. Can the experience of The Knight prevail against someone so big and strong as Pete Powers? Or will the strength be too much for Gothic to prevail and give Pete Powers his biggest win to date? Will Stormbringer interject himself into this contest and cost Gothic Knight the match himself? "He's become very near and dear in my heart, and its cool that I could motivate him to do what he needed to do for himself, and see the whole process come to fruition.

Wrestler's Rescue founder Dawn Marie said it came as no shock to hear what Terri was about to do for this young man.

"Terri is a huge part of Wrestler's Rescue," founder Dawn Marie said. "She has been with us since day one, and has always been the first one to raise her hand when it comes to doing events to help with the fundraising efforts of Wrestler's Rescue."

Dawn Marie said, upon learning about Runnels' trip, she asked her how she would cover the considerable traveling expenses involved.

"She informed me that she was going to pay for it out of her own pocket, unless we knew of someone that would want to help her in her efforts," Dawn Marie said. "I immediately called on some people that I know are friends of our program and informed them what Terri was about to do."

That led to Majestic Promotions' Eric Poppel, who Dawn Marie said donated $500 to help Terri's cause.

"Knowing Terri is a single mother, we did not want her to lay the money for her trip to the UK out of pocket," Poppel said. "We decided the right thing to do was make a $500 donation. Our hopes are this will help bring attention to what Terri is doing and also make donations, so s he does not have to take any money out of pocket to visit this ailing fan, who is now on the mend -- this is the crux of what motivated [my wife] Lisa and myself."

Dawn Marie made the acquaintance of Poppel and his wife Lisa booking talent for The Ultimate Collectibles and Autograph Show, which will be held at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pennsylvania Oct. 3-4. There, Dawn Marie and Terri, as well as many other legendary wrestling personalities including "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, Sabu and Steve Corino, among others, will be in attendance.

Poppel said he was moved upon learning about Wrestler's Rescue, and the organization's objective to help retired ring generals down on their luck, both physically and financially.

"It touched many nerves for myself and my wife: We have seen first hand retired baseball and specifically football players and the condition their bodies are in after their career is over," Poppel said. "Wrestler’s Rescue to us is the type of organization that retired football and baseball players should have -- Dawn Marie is doing some amazing work and we're looking forward to seeing her hard work continue to be realized, as the organization continues to grow and help more wrestlers."

Dawn Marie said she would be continuing to raise funds to assist Terri in her expenses meeting up with Duggan.

"Wrestlers Rescue will be collecting funds from anyone that wishes to help Terri give this amazing story the proper en ding it deserves," Dawn Marie said. "If more people in this world paid it forward, like that movie many years ago, we would live in a much better world."

What you can do to help: To help out with Terri's travel expenses, please send donations marked "Terri," to Wrestler's Rescue, 1162 St. Georges Avenue, Suite 313, Avenue, NJ 07001, or contact Wrestler's Rescue by e-mail at Wrestlersrescue@aol.com; The Ultimate Collectibles and Autograph Show will take place at the The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center 100 Station Ave in Oaks, Pennsylvania from Oct. 3-4.

Dawn Marie

Wrestlers Rescue
1162 Saint Georges Avenue
Suite 313
Avenel, NJ 07001
Phone: (732)548-5875
Email: WrestlersRescue@aol.com
Web: http://WrestlersRescue.Org

PZW Sept 9, 2009 Results

<img style="display:block; Wednesday, July 22nd. Lethbridge, AB. Doors open at 6:30 and belltime is at 7:30.

Six Man Tag Team Rematch!! Regardless of the outcome in Bow Island, this match will take place one more time for the great fans of Lethbridge! The Party Animals, Chucky Blaze and Alex Gallagher, will once again team up with MMA Competitor Adrian Walls to take on the team of Scotley Crue, Pete Powers and ‘Beautiful’ Bobby. The big thing coming into this match, the stipulation that forced ‘Beautiful’ Bobby to wear a dress, is finally over. Bobby will finally be able to properly prepare for a wrestling match while not wearing a dress. The question is…will Bobby even want to wrestle without wearing the dress? Has ‘Beautiful’ Bobby fully adapted to his unorthodox style of wrestling? Another question this website has is what does Bobby have in store for Adrian Walls? The main point of contention between them: the PZW Battle Cup. Adrian Walls won the cup on February 11th of this year in the 10 Person Invitational Battle Royal. However, ‘Beautiful’ Bobby has expressed on more than one occasion that since he was not in the Battle Royal to defend his cup, he did not lose it. This website has asked ‘Beautiful’ Bobby why he was not able to participate in the Battle Royal. His response has always been that he was on vacation. When pressed for details, he has always given this website vague and unspecific answers. Last live event in Lethbridge, this matchup took place for the first time with Chucky Blaze winning the match for his team using a Swanton Bomb. The question is, will the team of Powers, Crue and Bobby take notice of this and try to work together to take out Chucky’s high flying abilities? Can the referee for this match, Jesse Durst, be able to maintain control? Absolute chaos broke loose last event and though Durst’s decision stands, Chucky was not the legal man at the end of the match last event when he scored the pinfall. What more could possibly happen in this exciting matchup?

The ‘Cowboy’ Bryn Watts has once again hired the services of ‘The Assassin’ Chase Patrick. The person that the Cowboy wants eliminated next, Evan Adams. The Cowboy hired the Assassin last live event to take out Ring Announcer Amazing Grace. Because of the emotionless and shocking way the Assassin took out Grace, Grace will not be able to participate in live PZW events for the next while. By doctor’s orders, Grace will be out for at least several months. Rest assured, the Cowboy took notice of Evan Adams when he ran out to help Grace to the back to be looked at by medics. His actions, combined with the fact last live event that he nearly got the upset victory on Cowboy, has sealed his fate according to ‘Cowboy’ Bryn Watts. The match is made: The Assassin vs. Evan Adams. On paper, this should be an easy night for the Assassin. However, Evan Adams has shown tremendous heart and has been getting better every time he has participated in a live event. If he got the surprise victory over the Assassin, it would send him up into the Power Zone Rankings. Cowboy has made no secret that he has ‘hired an assassin’. For how long will the Cowboy continue to do this? Was this a one night plot…or does the Cowboy have future plans for his hired assassin? Could Evan Adams really be in trouble?

We are less than one week away from PZW’s next live event at Bully’s South Grandstand where PZW and the Movie Mill present ‘DESPERATE MEASURES!!!’ Ticket prices are $7.50 each!! Wednesday, July 22nd. Lethbridge, AB. Doors open at 6:30 and belltime is at 7:30.

Mr. Beefy Goodness Vance Nevada will be in action next live event and he will be taking on newcomer Alexander Hale. Vance wrestled the Stormbringer last live event but was unable to score a victory. He has a chance to redeem himself against Alexander Hale. This website does not know anything about this wrestler. With Commissioner Jim Dandy gone, majority owner ‘Cowboy’ Bryn Watts put together this match. Question is, will this match be one sided? If so, who has the advantage? Does Alexander Hale have any chance against the former NWA Canadian Heavyweight champ? Or does Alexander Hale have skills that match that of Vance Nevada? There is only one way to find out…

In the Semi Main Event…’Class Act’ Kevin Martel takes on the Gothic Knight. The Gothic Knight made his official PZW debut last live event. He is well known to the longtime wrestling fans in Southern Alberta and has achieved success in the wrestling world. At one time he had a contract with the now defunct World Champion Wrestling. As the Gothic Knight came in the ring and reintroduced himself to the great fans of PZW, ‘Class Act’ Kevin Martel came out and got in the face of Gothic Knight in an attempt to get in the mind of this medieval beast. Though Martel’s words were powerful, Gothic Knight marked his territory in PZW by tossing Martel around the ring with ease and finished him off with a devastating Power Bomb. This website has just found out that this match was made with these two individuals by Martel asking Cowboy for the match. The question is, why would Martel request such a match with somebody obviously so physically superior to him? Does Martel know something that we do not know? Does Martel have something up his sleeve? Does Martel have a game plan and knows how to exploit a weakness in the Gothic Knight that we do not know? Will ring rust be a major liability to Gothic? This very well may be one of the more interesting matches in PZW history. Martel has not lost any matches at all since the removal of his cast several months ago. But after this match, Martel may need a full body cast. This match has to be seen live!

The Main Event! PZW Heavyweight Champion Ravenous Randy will be taking on the challenger Stormbringer. This will be the last PZW match of Randy’s career seeing as he will be reporting to WWE next month. Will Randy take the PZW Championship with him, or will Stormbringer become a two time PZW Heavyweight Champion? The main stipulation in this match, if Stormbringer is unable to win this match, he will no longer be able to compete in a PZW ring EVER. Which is why this event is properly named ‘Desperate Measures’. At the end of the last live event, ‘Cowboy’ Bryn Watts told Stormbringer that Stormbringer needs to bring everything he has to the table, to look deep into whatever he has left of a soul and win this match if he ever wants to see the great fans of PZW ever again no matter the cost. Ravenous Randy is clearly the best professional wrestler of the moment in PZW. Not only because he is the current PZW Heavyweight Champion but because he is leaving for WWE. How desperate will Stormbringer have to be? Clearly not only is Cowboy trying to further break down the Stormbringer physically, but also emotionally as well. This match will no doubt be so physical, it is obvious that Cowboy wants Ravenous Randy injured to try and impede his future in WWE. This is obvious to this website just how diabolical and despicable ‘Cowboy’ Bryn Watts is, trying to destroy the futures of two superstars. What a jackass! No doubt Ravenous Randy will bring his ‘A’ game so that he can make the PZW fans proud with the PZW Heavyweight Championship on the WWE product. Stormbringer will undoubtedly bring his ‘A’ game as well considering his PZW career is on the line. This is one for the history books! Who could possibly win this match…who will be DESPERATE enough to win?

Be sure to catch the Stormbringer and the Iron Horse on CKXU radio! Click here to listen online. Stormbringer and the Iron Horse hold this radio show every two weeks, discussing among other things the latest that is happening in PZW. Be sure to catch their next show on July 26th between 10:30pm and midnight!

We are less than one week away from PZW’s next live event at Bully’s South Grandstand where PZW and the Movie Mill present ‘DESPERATE MEASURES!!!’ Ticket prices are $7.50 each!! Wednesday, June 24th. Lethbridge, AB. Doors open at 6:30 and belltime is at 7:30.

June 24th marks the arrival of the largest event aside from WrestleBash for PZW. That of course being BLOODLETTING!! PZW fans have been treated to something special every single time the BloodLetting show has been put on. The first BloodLetting marked an incredible battle between the Canadian Dream and the Stormbringer. PZW’s first ever ‘Texas Death I Quit’ match. This incredibly brutal contest lasted roughly 30 minutes which had the fans on their feet until the Canadian Dream came out on top. Neither man came out the same after that match. The second BloodLetting marked the introduction of the PZW Heavyweight Championship belt and the tournament to decide who would be the first PZW Heavyweight Champion. This tournament featured a list of past and present PZW superstars, a who’s who of Canadian independent professional wrestling. All of which who were vying for the richest prize, the honor of being the first to wear the belt. The tournament featured some of the best professional wrestling to ever be seen and the back and forth action kept the PZW fans second guessing as to who would eventually come out on top. In the end, MMA Competitor Adrian Walls showed that he had what it took and became the first ever PZW Heavyweight Champion and has since been a two time Heavyweight Champion. The third BloodLetting introduced the PZW fans to the Greatest Intercontinental Champion OF ALL TIME!! That being of course, the Honky Tonk Man. As the Honky Tonk Man was set to entertain the great fans of PZW, he was rudely interrupted by Mr. Beefy Goodness himself, Vance Nevada. As Vance Nevada took it upon himself to supposedly put the Honky Tonk Man in his place, the Honky Tonk Man showed that he still had it and showed the fans of PZW why he is known as the Greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time. We at the website of PZW have to wonder, what will be in store at this year’s BloodLetting?

As of late, a new alignment has formed in the PZW locker room. Pete Powers, Scotley Crue and ‘Beautiful’ Bobby showed that they had each other’s best interests in mind and were a force to be reckoned with last live event. Each of these individuals backed the other up in their respective matches. With outside help from Powers and Bobby, Scotley Crue was able to get a win over Mattias Wild. In Pete Powers’ match, both Scotley Crue and ‘Beautiful’ Bobby helped out and Pete got the win over one half of the Party Animals, that being Alex Gallagher. While Evan Adams got the win over ‘Beautiful’ Bobby, both Scotley Crue and Pete Powers ran out to lay a beat down on Evan Adams. At this point, heavy fan favourites the Party Animals, had had enough, made the save and issued the following challenge. That Pete Powers, Scotley Crue and ‘Beautiful’ Bobby takes on a team featuring both members of the Party Animals, Alex Gallagher and Chucky Blaze, along with a friend of theirs. That being former two time PZW Heavyweight Champion MMA Competitor Adrian Walls. Six Man Tag Team Action!! On one side, the new alignment of Pete Powers, Scotley Crue and ‘Beautiful’ Bobby. On the other, the Party Animals and MMA Competitor Adrian Walls. Who will come out on top?

Speaking of Adrian Walls, the MMA Competitor will be featured on the Playboy TV network on the show The Boy Nexxt Door. The episode will air on Saturday, June 20th at 9:00pm EST. Danny Vegas, the star of The Boy Nexxt Door, wants to be a professional wrestler. Once he faces Adrian Walls, he realizes that his dreams just won't be coming to fruition.

We are less than one week away from PZW’s next live event at Bully’s South Grandstand where PZW and the Movie Mill present ‘BloodLetting!!!’ Ticket prices are $7.50 each!! Wednesday, June 24th. Lethbridge, AB. Doors open at 6:30 and belltime is at 7:30.

Speaking of Evan Adams, he is scheduled to take on the majority owner of PZW. That being ‘Cowboy’ Bryn Watts. Newcomer Evan Adams has some momentum of late as he got the win over ‘Beautiful’ Bobby. But is Adams the relative lamb being led to the slaughter? ‘Cowboy’ Bryn Watts and the Canadian Dream have been operating as a cohesive unit as of late. After beating down Stormbringer and leaving him in a bloody mess last live event, both individuals seem unstoppable. When contacted by this website, Cowboy had this to say: “Now that useless individual is gone, the one known as PZW Commissioner Jim Dandy, I can do whatever I want. If I want to wrestle a rookie, so what. The PZW Board of Directors has no say in how I conduct my affairs in PZW. I will book myself to wrestle whomever I may wish. Last live event, that rookie Evan Adams cheated mainstay ‘Beautiful’ Bobby out of an easy win that Bobby should have had. This next live event, BloodLetting, I intend to beat some respect into Evan Adams. I’m going to show him what it takes to make it in PZW. I will give Evan Adams and the fans of PZW the lesson of respect. With the Canadian Dream by my side, I will not fail.” Those of us at the PZW website have to wonder, with the Canadian Dream at side of ‘Cowboy’ Bryn Watts, this should be an easy victory for the Cowboy…or a BIG upset for Evan Adams.

Stormbringer last live event in the unsanctioned match that he had with ‘Cowboy’ Bryn Watts faced a beat down from both the Cowboy and the Canadian Dream. As the Stormbringer had the fans behind him and looked like he was going to get the win over the Cowboy and some measure of revenge over the horrible things that the Cowboy has said about Stormbringer in SHAW TV’s Match of the Week, the Canadian Dream ran in and disrupted the match. The Canadian Dream knocked the Stormbringer off of the Cowboy and began to rain brutal and unrelenting blows to the unprotected and severely bloody head of the Stormbringer. Sheila, Stormbringer’s girlfriend, made the save by entering the ring with the shovel of the Stormbringer and swinging it as hard as she could at the massive back of the Canadian Dream. This had ‘Cowboy’ Bryn Watts extremely upset and in rage, Cowboy made a match for the Stormbringer at BloodLetting. At BloodLetting, the Stormbringer will be facing…Mr. Beefy Goodness Vance Nevada. Vance Nevada is a true veteran of this sport, having been wrestling professionally for over 13 years and has been in well over a 1000 matches. Vance Nevada is fresh off of a one month tour wrestling in the Maritimes and is arguably in the best shape of his life. The former NWA Canadian Heavyweight Champion has had many battles in his career. Just in PZW alone, Vance Nevada has scored pinfalls over top superstars ‘Ravenous’ Randy, Kyle Sebastian, MMA Competitor Adrian Walls and the Canadian Dream. Those of us at the website of PZW have to wonder, what is ‘Cowboy’ Bryn Watts thinking and what will Mr. Beefy Goodness Vance Nevada have in store for the Stormbringer?

We are less than one week away from PZW’s next live event at Bully’s South Grandstand where PZW and the Movie Mill present ‘BloodLetting!!!’ Ticket prices are $7.50 each!! Wednesday, June 24th. Lethbridge, AB. Doors open at 6:30 and belltime is at 7:30.

The rumours have been flying wild since last show ever since the banter that took place between Stormbringer and ‘Cowboy’ Bryan Watts. Stormbringer claimed last show that before he sold off his majority shares, a new talent was hired and that things are going to get ‘gothic’ with a former WCW superstar. What could this mean? And who could this wrestler be? Will he/she be at BloodLetting? Is this just a mind game being employed by the Stormbringer? Is Cowboy their target? Or will another PZW wrestling try and make a name for themselves and try to take out this former star returning to the ring? Stormbringer touched on this and on other subjects on his radio show last Sunday night, June 14th, on CKXU 88.3 FM between 10:30pm and midnight. To hear online go to this link. Stormbringer and the Iron Horse hold this radio show every two weeks, discussing among other things the latest that is happening in PZW. Be sure to catch their next show on June 28th between 10:30pm and midnight!

In the main event, Brandon Van Danielson will once again be challenging ‘Ravenous’ Randy for the PZW Heavyweight Championship. Last live event, this match was an instant classic and lasted for nearly half an hour and resulted in a double count out. At BloodLetting, the rematch will take place. BVD is incredibly vicious, like a pitbull, in the ring. He reminds those that watch him of a young Chris Benoit or Dynamite Kid back in their Stampede Wrestling days. He is absolutely relentless in the ring and if he finds any kind of weakness in ‘Ravenous’ Randy, he will exploit it. When contacted by this website, ‘Ravenous’ Randy had this to say: “Am I worried about retaining my Championship? Absolutely. BVD has been my toughest opponent to date. He has all the skills to be the next champion. But unlike me, he is not the ‘Cock of the Walk.’ He most certainly does not ‘Rock the Hawk.’ Finally, he does not have the support of the great fans of PZW. I have said it once and I’ll say it again, I will hold on to this title for forever. They will have to try and pry it from my cold dead hands. When they do, I’ll come back as a zombie. That’s right, a zombie!! I’ll just take it back again. It’ll be the coolest thing ever!! You heard me!!” Since their last encounter went to a double count out, this stipulation has been added to their match. All standard wrestling rules will apply but there will be no count out. What could possibly happen between these two at BloodLetting? Brandon Van Danielson vs ‘Ravenous’ Randy for the PZW Heavyweight Title.

We are less than one week away from PZW’s next live event at Bully’s South Grandstand where PZW and the Movie Mill present ‘BloodLetting!!!’ Ticket prices are $7.50 each!! I have every match recorded and video and watch for them being posted on Power Zone Wrestling TV on www.powerzonewrestling.tk

Now on to the show:

This was another solid great night of action from PZW and really fun entertaining show to watch.

The Hell before the bell was match a great match to get the crowd going it featured lots of great wrestling and fast paced action successfully set the pace for the entire night.

“Ravenous” Randy vs. BVD showed why I have said this time and time again that these two wrestlers are the present and future of wrestling and will both have good spots in the major leagues of wrestling in the future. They put on a great wrestling match with some great comedy spots.

Travis Coupland vs. Bryn Watts was another great tournament match that showed how The Cowboy could use his manager to his aide and almost pullout a win until THE STORMBRINGER (yeah he returned) showed why its good he’s back and allowed Travis to have some help evening the side and allowing Travis to hit a beautiful Frog Splash for the win and advance to the finals.

Cowboy enraged with his loss then fired Commissioner Jim Dandy, I’m sure the PZW board of Directors might have something to say about that.

Adrian Walls showed why he is the most dominate wrestler all around as he took three men to the limit and pummelled them to the mat and without a doubt would have beat them if it wasn’t for Walls using the same chair that was brought in to hurt him but instead wound up with Walls foot ramming it into his opponents head in front of the referee causing the DQ win and Walls to be suspended by The Cowboy the PZW Owner.

“The Assassin” Chase Patrick showed why he is on a roll and that he can beat more then just referee’s as he took it to a very fired up and tough “Party Animal” Chucky Blaze in a great back and forth match that saw Blaze fly around the ring and Patrick strike with his signature super kick for the win.
Main Event time saw the finals of the mini tournament for the vacant PZW title as the two winners from earlier Randy and Travis took it to each other in an incredibly hard fought match that saw each men hit their signature moves and show that both men had the heart to win and desire to become champion but in the end it was Randy’s hard work and desire and experience that allowed him to become the NEW PZW CHAMPION which was followed by a locker room celebration by Adrian Walls and The Party Animals.

Defiantly a good show and a new era of PZW was born tonight “The Ravenous Days” are upon us.

May 6 PZW News (From powerzonewrestling.net)

The News Presented By:

NEWS UPDATE April 29th

We are one week away from PZW’s next live event at Bully’s South Grandstand where PZW and the Movie Mill present ‘Goldrush!!’ Ticket prices: $7.50 each!! Wednesday, May 6th. Lethbridge, AB. Doors open at 6:30 and belltime is at 7:30.

It is official…’Cowboy’ Bryn Watts is the new majority owner of PZW. The majority shares that Stormbringer sold off were bought up exclusively by the Cowboy. When contacted by this website, Watts had this to say: “When I heard that Stormbringer was selling his shares and leaving PZW with his tail between his legs because of ‘personal issues’, I made a call. I made a call to a member of my family. ‘Cowboy’ Bill Watts, maybe you’ve heard of him? World famous promoter, inducted into the Hall of Fame at this year’s Wrestlemania? Yes…THAT ‘Cowboy’ Bill Watts. Anyways, I made the call and he had no problem wiring me the money that I used to buy up the majority shares in PZW. I run the show and I call all the shots. With the Canadian Dream by my side I will easily win this tournament and prove to the fans of PZW that their real champion and idol is me, ‘Cowboy’ Bryn Watts. Not Stormbringer!” Undoubtedly with the Cowboy as the new majority owner PZW has changed drastically, as fan who attended last live event could see. The major question though is this…is it for the worse?

We are one week away from PZW’s next live event at Bully’s South Grandstand where PZW and the Movie Mill present ‘Goldrush!!’ Ticket prices: $7.50 each!! Wednesday, May 6th. Lethbridge, AB. Doors open at 6:30 and belltime is at 7:30.

A new champion will be crowned on May 6th! The first seed of the tournament shall be ‘Cowboy’ Bryn Watts vs Travis Copeland. When contacted by this website, Travis had this to say: “I am so excited to be in this tournament! I’m even more excited for the fact that my first opponent in the tournament is Cowboy! Like all the fans in PZW, I take great exception to what Cowboy has said about my mentor, the Stormbringer. I don’t care that he is the new majority owner; I’m taking it to him. I will take all that Stormbringer has taught me and I’m sure I’ll come out on top. I already hold one pinfall victory over the Cowboy, in a match where Stormbringer and I took on Rampage. I took the Cowboy out, pinned him and got the 1, 2 and 3. With all that Cowboy has said about Stormbringer, it has really fired me up. Stormbringer is going through some personal issues and I’m doing my best to help him out with that. That’s all I will say on that. But on May 6th, I’m taking it to ‘Cowboy’ Bryn Watts and with the great fans of PZW behind me, I know I will win!”

The second seed of the tournament will be Brandon Van Danielson against ‘Ravenous’ Randy. Every time BVD has stepped into the ring he has shown that he is relentless, like an aggressive pitbull. BVD has shown that he will not step down from any opponent no matter their size. Like any pitbull, he may not start the fight but he sure as hell will end it. Any weaknesses his opponents may have, he exposes and exploits those weaknesses. ‘Ravenous’ Randy on the other hand, is a heavy crowd favourite. The fans of PZW have shown their love for the 'Mohawked One' time and time again. But even with the fans behind him, will it be enough for Randy to put down the vicious animal in BVD? Randy did win the ‘Fatal Four Way’ match at the last live event but this time he will be facing BVD one on one. You know that BVD will be utterly focused on the Ravenous one. But Randy has shown that he has what it takes and has scored some big wins in his time with PZW. Who will come out on top?

‘Cowboy’ Bryn Watts versus Travis Copeland and BVD versus ‘Ravenous’ Randy. Whoever wins their respective matches will face each other to become the new PZW Heavyweight Champion. Who will be the new champ?

We are one week away from PZW’s next live event at Bully’s South Grandstand where PZW and the Movie Mill present ‘Goldrush!!’ Ticket prices: $7.50 each!! Wednesday, May 6th. Lethbridge, AB. Doors open at 6:30 and belltime is at 7:30.

Adrian Walls will once again be facing ‘Beautiful’ Bobby this next live event. Their last match ended in a controversial count out due to Cowboy causing a distraction before Walls could use his ‘Lights Out’ maneuver. The two time former PZW Heavyweight Champion also has another reason to be angry with Cowboy. With Cowboy being in the tournament for the PZW Heavyweight title, Cowboy took a spot that rightfully belonged to Adrian Walls. Not only his Walls a former two time champion, he is number one in the rankings and deserves to be in this tournament. It is not hard to assume that Cowboy purposefully kept Walls out of the tournament so that Cowboy would have his spot. The main question is, will Walls have it in for Cowboy at the next live event? Also, based by his past actions, will Cowboy have it in for Walls when Walls once again goes one on one with ‘Beautiful’ Bobby?

One individual this website has recently taken note of is ‘Class Act’ Kevin Martel. Kevin Martel has gotten quite an impressive record already in PZW considering not only his dominant performance in the ‘Hell Before the Bell’ match last live event but also in other ‘Hell Before the Bell’ matches. Even though he hasn’t wrestled on the main card yet, what does the future hold for this young superstar? Could he possibly be a dominant force within PZW sometime in the near future? This next live event, ‘Class Act’ Kevin Martel will be in action once again in the ‘Hell Before the Bell’ match. To all PZW fans, be there before the opening bell to see if anyone else will fall victim before Martel…or is it just luck?

We are one week away from PZW’s next live event at Bully’s South Grandstand where PZW and the Movie Mill present ‘Goldrush!!’ Ticket prices: $7.50 each!! Wednesday, May 6th. Lethbridge, AB. Doors open at 6:30 and belltime is at 7:30.

‘The Assassin’ Chase Patrick will be in action on May 6th and he will be taking on none other than the high flying member of the Party Animals, Chucky Blaze. The Assassin has shown time and time again that he has no regard for any official in PZW. His senseless beatings on Ref Shaggy over the last two live events have shown the lack of respect that he holds over all the officials. Yet through his ruthlessness, he has shown that he has a plan and the intelligence that he has used to carry out this plan is not only impressive but damn scary at the same time. He was able to goad Mattias Wild into standing up for the officials of PZW, for Ref Shaggy. The Assassin was able to convince Wild to put his ‘Guaranteed PZW Heavyweight Title Match’ contract on the line. Mattias Wild ended up falling for the Assassin’s plan and Chase Patrick has become the new holder for that contract. Not only does this website wonder what the Assassin has in store for young Chucky Blaze, but this website has to also wonder who he has an eye on for winning the tournament at the next show. Chucky Blaze definitely has plenty in store for himself at the next live event. Even though he is young, he has shown incredible heart and resiliency. His arsenal of high flying death defying moves often leaves the PZW fans speechless and in awe. Last live event, Chucky was able to outsmart Mayhem! and got the pin over on TBone. He has momentum, but is it enough to put away the Assassin?

We are one week away from PZW’s next live event at Bully’s South Grandstand where PZW and the Movie Mill present ‘Goldrush!!’ Ticket prices: $7.50 each!! Wednesday, May 6th. Lethbridge, AB. Doors open at 6:30 and belltime is at 7:30.

On May 6th, a new champion will be crowned. Who will make it the finals? Out of ‘Cowboy’ Bryn Watts, Travis Copeland, Brandon Van Danielson and ‘Ravenous’ Randy, who will be champion? The main event will feature two of these individuals. Considering both competitors will have wrestled once already, will fatigue be a factor? Will Cowboy somehow leverage his way into the finals and possibly be the new PZW Heavyweight Champion? The richest prize in Canadian Wrestling is on the line on May 6th! Who will be the new champion?

We are one week away from PZW’s next live event at Bully’s South Grandstand where PZW and the Movie Mill present ‘Goldrush!!’ Ticket prices: $7.50 each!! Wednesday, May 6th. Lethbridge, AB. Doors open at 6:30 and belltime is at 7:30.

PZW April 15 2009 Results

PZW Results April 15, 2009
“For Sale by Owner”

Sorry it took so long to get these posted but I’m going to try a different format today with quick results then giving my opinions on the match after the results.

Hell before the bell: Kevin Martel beat Evan Andrews

Beautiful Bobby and Adrian Walls fought to a time limit draw

Crosse beat Alex Gallagher

Chase Patrick beat Ref Shaggy

Chucky Blaze beat T-Bone

Ravenous randy beat Brandon van Danielson, Cowboy Bryn Watts & Travis Coupland in championship preview fatal four way match.

Kevin Martel vs. Evan Andrews was a faced paced quick opener that featured some great wrestling and continued to show “The Class Act” Kevin Martel is nicely becoming a main player in PZW.

Beautiful Bobby Vs Adrian Walls was a great physical contest with some very entertaining parts of the match as well. Bobby continues to show he is a sick freak. Adrian Walls getting screwed out of the tournament by Bryn Watts just makes the situation more appealing as I for one cat wait to see the former most hated man in PZW go against the new most hated man in PZW.

Crosse vs. Alex Gallagher proved having the owner on your side is always a plus but Crosse doesn’t need it and he showcases his great ring wrestling to secure a win and save his proclamation that he will never be pinned in a PZW ring ever again. Alex Gallagher continues to show why he is one of the most popular guys in PZW.

Chase Patrick vs. Referee Shaggy had some solid wrestling by both competitors and shows why Shaggy should make the jump to wrestling full time and give up wrestling. The inexperience factor of Shaggy came in to play for The Deadly Assassin to strike and take the win with his PZW title shot contract.

Chucky Blaze vs. T-Bone this match showed why Chucky is one of the most exciting wrestlers to watch in wrestling as you never know what he will do each match and that T-Bone couldn’t get the luck of having his tag partner as owner as Party Animals can overcome any obstacle no matter what consequences it may bring later.

The four way featuring the four men that will compete for the PZW title next show was an amazing match that featured everything from great wrestling to hardcore wrestling that spills out all over the arena, to some great entertaining moments and showcasing why these four men deserve to compete for the title. Ravenous Randy will be the next big superstar to make it in the big leagues.

All in all this was a great event by PZW and cant wait to see what the exciting changes of the new owner bring to Power Zone Wresting and what May 6 will bring to change the future of PZW.

Wresltemania Weekend in Houston part two

5:00pm Axxcess finished and it was time to make way into the Reliant Stadium on my in I managed to find some program dealers and buy a Wrestlemania program as in Axxcess they were sold out and didn’t want to miss not getting one, I then proceeded through the ticket gate which didn’t have that long a line because the gates opened while I was in Axxcess, I made the trek up the ramp to the doors to the entrance and realized I came in the wrong entrance and had to walk through the stadium to the other side in order to get down to where my seats were. Once I got to my section I walked onto the stands and was immediately in awe to see the giant Wrestlemania set and ring in front of me and then walked down the stands to my seats on the floor not all that far from the ring and which included my seat on the end of aisle so I could get up and move around the side in order to get a good view once everyone stood up for the excitement. I had a bout half and hour before any action started so I managed to get some food and just hang around my seats until at about 5:30pm when Lillian Garcia made her entrance and announced the ECW announce team to call the preshow bonus tag title unification match which was a great match then after the match after the wrestlers made their way to the back Goof Ole Jim Ross, Michael Cole and The King made their way out and got set up for the “Granddaddy of the All” to officially kick off and be underway. The firework display was awesome to start the show and Nicole from the Pussycat dolls did and amazing job singing America the Beautiful. The money in the bank was a great way to kick off the show and it was another great money in the bank match wit lots of high risk insane stuff. Kid Rock then came out to sing a medley of a number of his hit songs which was really good and had the crowd rocking featuring the entrance of the divas for the battle royal next. The battle royal was your typical battle royal but it was nice to see the past divas in the WWE again and Santino… I mean Santina was really entertaining it was a cool way to finish the battle royal and defiantly sets up a interesting angle to come. The whole event was beyond awesome make sure to check out the pictures I have on face book. The Undertaker Vs. Shawn Michaels match was really awesome to see live I cant wait to see it on DVD as these two put on a 30 minute classic that had people on their feet and going crazy the whole match cheering for both men the electricity was amazing. Seeing Mickey Rourke get in the ring and mess around with Jericho was cool to see as well as seeing The Dragon go again Ricky Steamboat was awesome he never missed a beat considering he hasn’t wrestled in over 10 years. Stone Cold coming out for one more beer bash was a special moment. John Cena is super strong as seeing him pick of Big Show and Edge at the same time in attempt to give both men the “Attitude Adjuster” at the same time and win his next World title. The main even between HHH and Randy Orton was a very physical old school match that really pushed the envelope without having to add the no disqualification factor to the match.

The Spectacle of the whole weekend was amazing with some great wrestling from Wrestlemania and Ring of Honor and a special night in the Hall of Fame Ceremony as well as some hands on activity from Axxcess made for an extremely good time and a weekend I will never forget and will differently do again as well as go to other WWE pay per views, live events and ROH shows. I cant wait to get all these shows on DVD and recommend to anyone that has not seen these events to order in the DVD’s and watch them because all the wrestlers were top notch and check out the many picture I posted on face book and if you don’t have me as a friend make sure to add me (Craig Crusher Usher) and check out the pictures.

Wow this concluded my longest blog and really sums up and excellent weekend.

Craig Crusher Usher

Wresltemania Weekend in Houston part one

Wrestlemania Weekend in Houston Texas

Well Friday April 3, 2009 I arrived in Houston at just after 4pm got through the airport and found a cab to take me to my hotel to check in and then get in another cab to go down to the George R. Brown Convention Center where I arrived at 6pm to catch the last two hours of the Booker T Legends of Wrestling fan fest going on with legends and present stars signing autographs and merchandise dealers set up like Highspots.com selling merchandise.

I got my passes and go to meet great legends and receive autographs and pictures in what was truly a class act show put on and all the legends were extremely professional and made sure they signed everyone’s autographs and posed for pictures even if it meant having to come back after they packed up and left. The list of legends I met mere some of my all time favourites like Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Booker T, Jimmy Hart and the Nasty Boys, Kimberly Page and master of the Diamond Cutter DDP Diamond Dallas Page. I also got me current favourites and stars like former TNA and ROH world champion Samoa Joe and TNA Knockout and WWE Diva search winner the beautiful Christy Hemme. All is all it was a great experience and fun time and a great way to start off an incredible weekend.

After the convention ended at about 8pm I went up to the third floor of the convention center and took in the first of two Ring Of Honor shows this weekend with the first being their big “Supercard of Honor 4” show, I have never been to an ROH show live but I have purchased a number of their DVD’s to know what their wrestling was like but being at an live ROH show is a great experience the crowd was extremely passionate about the product and very respectful of all in ring wrestlers. The ROH show had everything thing from young up and coming wrestlers just starting out in dark matches to world class wrestlers from all over the world, to former WWE or TNA stars to some memorable legends still making rounds, like Bushwhacker Luke was there who I was extremely excited to see as I was always a Bushwhacker fan and even Kamala was there as well with legendry manager Chi and they preformed in the ring and posed for pictures and signed autographs with fans during the intermission. I would really recommend anyone to order this |DVD when it comes out as I know I will because there is a awesome match of the year candidate featured as Davey Richards took on GHC Jr. Heavyweight champion Kenta in a title match that had everything in the match from great fast paced high flying action to fantastic mat wrestling in a match that led the crowd in “F*ck Wrestlemania” , “This is Awesome” and the classic “ROH” chants and left everyone in the building standing and giving both men a standing ovation as Davey Richards proclaimed this is what Ring of Honor is about. There was many other great matches as well and the night was caped off with a special moment as Jerry Lynn managed to beat current ROH champion Nigel McGinnis in another classic match to become the new ROH world Champion and earn a standing ovation for Lynn followed by a very heartfelt speech by Lynn who truly deserved another World Title reign.

The next day Saturday was filled with more wrestling all day again as I was back at the George R. Brown Convention center for another afternoon of Ring Of Honor wrestling and their second show of the weekend with a pay per view taping of ROH’s “Take no Prisoners” upcoming pay per view. Again ROH had another solid night of wrestling that you must see caped off by Jerry Lynn’s first title defence and another match of the year candidate tag team match featuring Kenta and Tyler Black verses Katsuhiko Nakajima and Austin Aries in a match you must see because it was incredible.

After the ROH show it was time to take the short walk over the Toyota Center because the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2009 ceremony was about to begin in an hour. I arrived at the Toyota center to find people everywhere crowed in front the building and all around the arena with having to get in the line by joining some people on the street (which was not closed off so cars were driving by in behind) it was then we were let in to the Toyota to where I found my seat seating in the stands directly in front of the stage and by seeing that was just awe inspiring. Todd Grisham came out shortly to welcome everyone and remind everyone that there was to be no cat calls or shouting at any wrestlers during the show out of respect to the legends. Todd then announced that the WWE superstars and families would be filling into their seats right away and out first was Vicky Guerrero and her daughters to a great reaction of applause and cheers from the respectful crowd other notable names were current stars Great Kali who is huge when you see in live, Sgt. Slaughter, Molly Holly, John Cena, Edge (who received loud boos), Jeff Hardy, the McMahon’s, a surprise appearance by DDP who the crowd loved to see and many more legends, past & current stars who could fill a page with just names. The show then got started and was hosted by Todd Grisham and featured a countdown clock behind me on the back wall for timing of speeches. Out first was Dusty Rhodes doing the American Dream dance to induct Terry and Dory Funks who each gave speeches. Out next was Honky Tonk Man to induct Koko B. Ware with Frankie who kept trying to eat Koko’s speech and even manage to leave a little present on the podium for the other legends. Next up was Michael P.S. Hayes to induct the Von Erich family with surviving member Kevin Von Erich to accept and give a speech. Mene Gene was out next to induct long time WWE employee and legendary ring announcer (and only ring announcer to be inducted to Hall of Fame) Howard Finkle to the hall of fame where “The Fink” proudly gave himself a great introduction into the Hall of Fame. Good Ole JR Jim Ross was out next to a great reaction from having Boomer Sooner played in Texas to induct his mentor Cowboy Bill Watts into the Hall of Fame. Todd came out again to announce a short break and that the TV portion of the show would be starting soon and announce that Hall of Famer Jerry “King” Lawler would be hosting the TV portion and then the TV introduction was shown a highlight package of all hall of famer’s past and present was shown Lawler welcomed us to the TV portion and brought out “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair to induct Ricky Steamboat into the Hall of Fame where Flair gave a great speech that went to commercial break and then Flair did the speech again because of the timing from all the “Whoooo!” chants from the crowd and then out came Ricky Steamboat who gave a really emotional speech and even mentioned Mickey Rourke in the crowd. Jerry Lawler then brought out Mene Gene again to recap and then back from commercial Lawler showed a simulation from the Legends of Wrestlemania game showing HBK vs. Undertaker and then introduced Vince McMahon who came out next to induct ``Stone Cold” Steve Austin into the Hall of Fame and call Austin the greatest WWE superstar ever. Stone Cold them came out to huge reaction and a long “Thank you Austin” chant before he started very heart felt speech and followed by a Hall of Fame style beer bash and was joined by the entire class of 2009 to take in the applause from the crowd one more time. All in all it was great show and truly memorable seeing all those deserving legends take their spot in history.

Now on to Sunday April 5 I got down to Reliant Stadium and Center at about noon and walked around at some of stuff they had set up outside like merchdise tables and the army national guard set up and then proceeded to the line for Wrestlemania Axxcess session starting at 1pm and I was glad I had VIP tickets as the general admission line was huge as well as for being VIP you got a wrist band that allowed you to skip lines for the booths except the superstar signings and get ringside access to the ring and a random autograph from a WWE superstar which I got Edge who is one of my favourite stars ever so that was cool. Inside was set up really cool and the first attraction I went to see was to step inside the Hell in Cell and get in side the ring which was intimidating also under the ring was Hornswoggle’s house set up, he’s got a nice setup under there, I then went to look at my personal favourite set up as it was the classic memorabilia display which had lots of old legends ring where and many other classic memorabilia, I hit up the merchandise stand next to get me a Wrestlemania 25 jersey and ECW title belt replica because everything was selling out quick. (Those title belts are heavy). I got in the line next to see ECW star Tyson Kidd and get my picture and autograph with him next and then watched our host for the night Jimmy Hart perform different tasks in the ring. Also signing there that I saw was Cryme Tyme, Candice Michelle, Hacksaw Jim Duggen, Ron Simmons, Afa of the wild Samoans and Tito Santana and Greg “The Hammer” Valentine. Other attractions were a bunch of old title belts to take pictures off and have you picture taken with the World title, WWE action figure packages to have you picture in, WWE diva picture set with the woman’s title, call a match with Josh Mathews, create your own entrance, and a very cool Undertakers graveyard showing his 16 Wrestlemania victims and various caskets used from various casket matches in WWE history and you could also have you picture take next to Shawn Michaels Wrestlemania grave. Valadmir Koslov also beat Festus in match with Jesse and Mr. Kennedy did a live Q & A session in the ring. Wrestlemania Axxess was a great afternoon of excitement with lots of great attractions.

PZW April 15, 2009

Power Zone Wrestling is back April 15, 2009 with a huge comapny changing show. This match was a great opener with lots of back and forth excitement but it was the awesome power of Pete Powers that allowed him to get the win.
Winner: Pete Powers

To kick off the show Commissioner Jim Dandy came on out to announce the PZW heavyweight championship has been vacated by “The Stormbringer” Tim Strom due to Strom’s leave of absence from the company to take care of personal demons. Well Tim take care all your fans still love & Support you and cant wait for you to come back and continue showing why you are the best in PZW. Anyways next show April 15, 2009 a tournament will be announced to crown a new PZW champion.

“Ravenous” Randy & Adrian Walls Vs Beautiful Bobby & Brandon Van Danielson
Adrian Walls then came out to say he demands to be in the tournament and since he doesn’t have a partner he is calling out BVD and Bobby right now to a 2 on 1 handicap match which lead to a post match beat down until “Ravenous” Randy made the save evening up the teams and allowing the tag match to become under way. This was an incredibly entertaining match which showed just how good these four wrestlers are and just when you thought that the deranged Bobby and the future of pro wrestling Brandon Van Danielson were going to pull out the victory it was Bobby’s necessity to have the battle cup trophy that him leave the ring to try to find it causing BVD to go with him trying to see what his partner was doing getting the team counted out in the process.
Winner: “Ravenous” Randy and “PZW Battle cup champion holder” Adrian Walls

Alex Plexis Vs “Cowboy” Bryn Watts
This match got heated up last show when Watts and Mayhem vowed to eliminate Plexis if he ever came back to PZW. Plexis took the early advantage to Watts showing he could bring the fight to the Cowboy but it was the constant interference from the Dream at ringside and the double team from the two Mayhem team mates that allowed “Cowboy” to lock in the Texas Clover Leaf for the submission from Plexis allowing the Cowboy to get the win but I don’t think this feud is about over yet.
Winner: “Cowboy” Bryn Watts

“The Assassin” Chase Patrick VS Mattias Wild for the PZW title shot contract
The match was supposed to be Patrick vs. Ref Shaggy but “The Assassin” ambushed the PZW Referee taking him out before he made it to the ring. It was then Mattias Wild made his way out to the ring to issue the challenge and set up the next match for Wild’s contract at a PZW title shot. These two proved why I have said before that both Mattias Wild and Chase Patrick are the future of pro wrestling as they put on a wrestling clinic which lead to a near fall by both Wild and Patrick having fans jump to their feet but in the end it was Patrick using his dirty ways to hook the tights and grab the ropes allowing him to pin Mattias Wild and win the contract.
Winner: “The Assassin” Chase Patrick

Crosse VS Travis Copeland
We have seen these two lock horns in one on one matches at the last couple PZW shows and Crosse has vowed to never be pinned in a PZW ring ever again. Crosse took the aggression to Copeland early in the match before the bell as he has been frustrated he cant be Travis, and just when you thought the interference from Mayhem member Canadian Dream would help another Mayhem member get the easy win. Referee Jesse sent the Canadian Dream to the back which is going to be put or shut up time for Crosse he cant hide behind the Dream’s interference and Travis took the fight to Crosse in aggressive fashion and right when it looked like Travis would finally pin Crosse after the twist of fate it was the interference from the back from Mayhem members Canadian Dream and “Cowboy” Bryn Watts that caused the disqualification victory for Copeland again thus allowing Crosse to keep is vow of never being pinned in a PZW ring and lead to huge 3 man beat down from Mayhem to Travis Copeland. This rivalry is far from over and one day Crosse will be pinned.
Winner: Travis Copeland by Disqualification

Main Event Last Team Standing Match
5 Star Affair Vs Party Animals
This match words cannot describe it will go down in history as one of the best matches in PZW history if not the best. These guys fought throughout the arena and in the ring Chucky made huge high risk dives off a huge ladder, VIP Benjamin English and Alex Gallagher both took nasty chair shots sending both men through the same table eliminating them from the match. Pete Powers tried to come out and help Superfly Dan get the win slamming Chucky through two chairs and thinking 5 Star Affair got the win but Chucky managed to get up and proclaim that they would have to kill him to keep him down forcing Dan and Powers back to the ring which Chucky quickly got rid of Powers and slammed Dan onto a chair securing the party Animals the win leaving the crowd on their feet knowing they have just seen a very awesome and great match that surely will be match of the year and a 5 star classic that will go down in PZW history as always one of the best matches ever.
Winners: Party Animals

All in all this was a great show from top to bottom and proves why PZW is the best wrestling in Alberta, Canada and North America.

Till Next time from Ringside I am

Craig “Crusher” Usher

PZW March 25, 2009

Just a reminider PZW is back in Lethbridge for another show next Wednesday March 25 at Bullys so dont miss it and from www.powerzonewrestling.net here is a little preview and run down of the matches:

Courtesy http://www.powerzonewrestling.net

The News Presented By:

NEWS UPDATE March 19th

We are less than one week away from PZW's next live event at Bully's South Grandstand where PZW and the Movie Mill present, 'Another Victim!' Wednesday, March 25th. Lethbridge, Ab. Doors open 6:30. Belltime 7:30.
Five Incredible Matches!!

A Double Main Event!!

Last Tag Team Standing! The Team that cannot answer the Ten Count will be declared the loser and the match is stopped. The match continues with No Disqualification, No Count Out, No Time Limit until there is only one team left standing. A member of a team can be knocked out of the matchup if he is unable to answer the Ten Count leaving his partner alone in a 2 on 1 situation.

The Party Animals vs. 5 Star Affair. The most popular tag team in PZW history vs. the most arrogant tag team in PZW history. As Commissioner Jim Dandy pointed out to this website, "There will be no doubt as to who the audience will be hoping is the last tag team standing. Superfly Dan and VIP Benjamin English have openly mocked this company. They've called SHAW TV's Sheila Nykwist a slut. They've embarrassed and beat down PZW Heavyweight Champion Stormbringer. They've done all they can to injure the Party Animals and stop those two kids from climbing all the way to the top of the PZW Tag Team Rankings. And most importantly 5 Star Affair have shown absolutely no respect or gratitude towards our incredible audience. Those two ungrateful bastards need to realize that without an audience there is no 5 Star Affair. I sincerely hope the Party Animals shut those two chumps up........for good."

PZW Heavyweight Champion Stormbringer has shared with this website his relief in his ability to team up with MMA Competitor Adrian Walls. "This past Friday the 13th, we were able to beat Rampage in Bow Island. The team ran very smoothly. It's funny but we clicked almost immediately. I think we both realized we were in for a war vs. the #1 Ranked Tag Team in PZW. We better get along or pay the price. Adrian Walls is who I beat to hold this belt and I'm sure he'll never forget that. Right now we have to focus on Brandon Van Danielson and ‘Beautiful’ Bobby. One guy is the most driven wrestler I've ever faced and the other is a damn freak. I read somewhere that BVD is being billed as the ‘Future of Wrestling’. He very well has a bright future and I'll give him his due. The kid is tough as nails, aggressive as all hell and has a tremendous skill level. His training background reads like a who's who list of the WWE's future. But.......this is my time right now. BVD's time is coming. This is where I live and started a business. I'm proud to live in Southern Alberta and represent Southern Alberta as the PZW Champ. BVD may very well be the guy to beat me. But it won't be anytime soon."

The short history between Adrian Walls and ‘Beautiful’ Bobby is intriguing to say the least. ‘Beautiful’ Bobby proudly held the Battle Cup Trophy from winning two consecutive PZW Invitational Battle Royals. But, he decided that a Mexican vacation was more important then entering the February 11th PZW Invitational Battle Royal. The Two Time Former PZW Heavyweight Champion Adrian Walls won that PZW Invitational Battle Royal to secure his possession of the Battle Cup Trophy.

Adrian Walls was pinned by Stormbringer last PZW live event in Lethbridge after ‘Beautiful’ Bobby distracted the MMA Competitor. The match also featured Brandon Van Danielson. BVD has remained relatively quiet but one loyal PZW follower pointed out to this website that BVD has never been cleanly pinned by Stormbringer. The only time Stormbringer directly pinned BVD in a matchup, BVD clearly had a foot under the bottom rope and Stormbringer admitted to pulling BVD's trunks.

We are less than one week away from PZW's next live event at Bully's South Grandstand where PZW and the Movie Mill present, 'Another Victim!' Wednesday, March 25th. Lethbridge, Ab. Doors open 6:30. Belltime 7:30.

"It's Simple!! I'll Never Be Pinned Again! I Can Guarantee It!" The Mastermind behind the allegiance known as Mayhem! shared with this website.

If his last two matches vs. Travis Copeland are any indication, his words are becoming rather prophetic. Just when it seemed Travis Copeland was poised to pick up the win, the Canadian Dream would interfere from ringside breaking up any possibility of Travis Copeland securing what would be his biggest victory to date. A pinning victory vs. Crosse would be exactly what Travis Copeland needs to get his wrestling career to the next level. Crosse has a plan that will make sure that exact scenario never takes place.

Rampage have sent former PZW Heavyweight Champion Zero back to Australia on a stretcher. The #1 Ranked Tag Team decimated Zero and his partner Alex Plexis last live event in Lethbridge. Zero is out of action indefinitely while Alex Plexis remains. The 18 year old has found a partner to avenge the assault by Rampage. ‘Ravenous’ Randy will team with Alex Plexis and face off against Rampage. But.....what did TBone of Rampage mean when he told this website that Alex Plexis should back down or his life will be ruined?

Referee Shaggy Campbell continues to win over the fans of PZW with his passion for performing. Shaggy has put together two consecutive wins vs. ‘Beautiful’ Bobby using the Sleeper. But the celebration was short lived last live event in Lethbridge as 'The Assassin' Chase Patrick continued his assault on the officials of PZW. Referee Shaggy Campbell may be wrestling as of late but he is still under contract with PZW as a referee. 'The Assassin' Chase Patrick vowed revenge on the officials of PZW for what he felt has been unfair treatment. The rivalry between the officials of PZW alongside Commissioner Jim Dandy and 'The Assassin' Chase Patrick continues to rise in intensity.

TnT 10:30 is on the air. Doors open at 6:30pm, Bell time is at 7:30pm. Comne on out for a great night of PZW Wrestling.

From www.powerzonewrestling.net here is a quick preiview of the matches for tonight in Bow Island:

NEWS UPDATE March 10th

PZW is back on the road! Friday the Thirteenth!! Bow Island @ The Multiplex. Friday, March 13th. Belltime 7:30pm. Doors open 6:30pm.

Featured matchups:

Brandon Van Danielson vs. Mattias Wild. BVD is embroiled in a battle with Two Time Former PZW Heavyweight Champion Adrian Walls and PZW Heavyweight Champion Stormbringer. BVD has now wrestled Stormbringer three times and has not been pinned cleanly by Stormbringer. Is BVD the chosen one who's time has come?

Mattias Wild is waiting patiently with the PZW Heavyweight Championship Match Contract. The contract guarantees him a PZW Heavyweight Championship Match anytime prior to or during WrestleBash '09.

‘Beautiful’ Bobby vs. Referee Shaggy Campbell. Last live event Referee Shaggy Campbell defeated ‘Beautiful’ Bobby. ‘Beautiful’ Bobby was distracted by Adrian Walls being at ringside to claim the Battle Cup Trophy awarded to Adrian Walls for winning the PZW Invitational Battle Royal. Can ‘Beautiful’ Bobby land a Facial or will he be laid out by a sleeper from Referee Shaggy Campbell?

The Party Animals vs. 5 Star Affair. The hottest rivalry in PZW hits Bow Island. The Party Animals were just two guys living out their dreams of being professional wrestlers. 5 Star Affair are two guys who had hoped the PZW audience would embrace, but they weren't accepted as fan favorites. Now 5 Star Affair wants to take their frustration out on the Party Animals, the most popular Tag Team in PZW history.

Crosse vs. Travis Copeland. The Mastermind behind Mayhem! has made a frightening guarantee. He has put all of PZW on notice. As long as the Canadian Dream accompanies Crosse to ringside, he will never be pinned again in his career. The Canadian Dream reinforces that by guaranteeing that he will be at ringside accompanying Crosse in Bow Island on March 13th.

PZW Heavyweight Champion Stormbringer joins forces with MMA Competitor and Two Time Former PZW Heavyweight Champion Adrian Walls for the First Time Ever!! Rampage is the #1 Ranked Tag Team in PZW. ‘Cowboy’ Bryn Watts and TBone will be joined at ringside by their fellow member of Mayhem!, the Canadian Dream. The Biggest Tag Team match in PZW History!!

TnT 10:30 is on the air. CKXU 88.3FM (standard radio signal broadcast) in the Lethbridge area.
